Leadership Team

The Honourable John Lohr was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Kings North in 2013 and was re-elected in 2017 and 2021. John Lohr is the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and is the Minister responsible for the Office of Emergency Management.

Byron Rafuse has 37 years of public service experience, holding positions throughout the years with the departments of Finance, Solicitor General, Justice and Health. He is the Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and CEO of the Nova Scotia Provincial Housing Agency.
